Articulate and empathetic instructor with 45 years of experience in the equestrian industry. Lived in the U.S. for 29 years and gained U.S. Eventing Association Level III instructor qualification. Was co-director of the Millbrook Equestrian Center in upstate NY and then owner/manager of BHS approved Cedar Crest Farm Equestrian Center which was renowned as a training facility for riders visiting from across the U.S. and beyond. Now lucky to be based out of Elder Park Farm in Dolton, North Devon which has great training facilities but I'm also more than willing to travel. I am happy to teach riders of all ages and abilities and have the ideas and solutions to bring out the best in all horse and rider combinations, using innovative exercises based around the classical directives. I particularly enjoy teaching children and "riders of a certain age" who need to regain their confidence. I also enjoy schooling horses and ponies, helping them to balance themselves and thereby making them easier and more enjoyable rides for their owners.
