About me

I have been coaching for over 15 years, all over the world! I have worked with a range of horses, and have produced my own horses for competitions. I coach a range of riders from beginners to more advanced riders in all disciplines. I particularly enjoy working with young and nervous horses, as well as nervous riders lacking confidence. I am supportive and encouraging and focus on what the rider wants to achieve.

I love seeing the progress of a horse and rider, and am always on hand between sessions to offer advice and guidance. I have experience in all aspects of horse care, including extensive knowledge of nutrition and equine science, as well as biomechanics and movement. Being a qualified veterinary physiotherapist, I can help the rider understand how exercises can help the horse with regards to posture, range of motion and performance.

My ethos to horse training is very horse and rider centred, where there are clear outcomes and step-by- step goals to help achieve those outcomes.

Sessions vary range in price from £30, depending on number of horses, location and size of the group. This is per session rather than a set time as every horse is different on each day - generally sessions last between 30-40 mins but this can vary from 20-60 mins. I am willing to travel up to 45 mins from Morganstown.

My focus is on happy and healthy relationships between horse and rider and everyone enjoying the sport.
