About me

The horse first, the sport second.

A former International Event Rider, I bring experience from backing and producing horses who have gone on to compete at five-star level to rehabilitating 'write-offs' to enjoy a working life at a lower level.  I have compassion for both horse and rider and intend to impart my experience so that every partnership grows in trust, confidence and performance.  I regularly teach leisure riders but have also been instrumental for many who have gone on to become professionals as well as having helped RDA riders and those recovering from injury or illness.  My main passion is to ensure all the horses and ponies I come into contact with are happy, healthy and leading an enriched life.  I am also the designer of the Click & Connect Range of Neck Straps and Breastplates, sold by Salute Equestrian, to improve safety, partnership and performance. I have  another business offering hacking and training equine holidays with your horse in the New Forest.  I welcome interest from anyone who wants to advance their riding and equestrian partnership, no matter their age, ability, or ambition.
